The property, which dates from the 1970s and had not been invested into for nearly 20 years, has undergone a significant facelift and been renamed Palladium Costa del Sol. The renovation includes the property’s 336 guestrooms, lobby, front desk, the addition of new F&B areas, a new pool area and a new rooftop terrace.

The refurbishment works have been completed in 7 months as a result of an effective project management and a strong licensing strategy which helped minimize risks during all phases of the construction. A Estudio de Detalle is also being implemented to enhance asset value.

The hotel re-opened in July 2019 under Palladium’s management, being their first resort hotel in the Iberian Peninsula and their first hotel operated under a management agreement.

Alsotel led the project from origination and acquisition, to business plan creation and execution, and currently provides asset management services to the investment partner.
